If you've ever seen Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King's epic roadtrips, you know they would be the absolute most fun people to go on a girls' trip with.
Well, now, the BFFs are heading out for a cruise vacation! Holland America Line and O, The Oprah Magazine just announced a new three-day Girls' Getaway cruise to the Bahamas on the cruise line's newest ship, Nieuw Statendam.
Oprah and Gayle announced the trip in an Instagram video with Oprah proclaiming: "I'm going to be the ship's godmother."
The cruise sets sail from Fort Lauderdale, Florida on January 30, 2019 and returns on February 2.
Oprah and O, The Oprah Magazine Editor-at-Large Gayle will be joined by other members of the magazine's editorial staff. There will be special presentations and events on board the ship plus a relaxing day ashore at Half Moon Cay, Holland America Line's award-winning private island in the Bahamas.
"The Girls’ Getaway cruise celebrates the power of friendship and will feature special onboard experiences that honor and pay tribute to the special bond between women," the press release reads.
Obviously, the cruise sold out in less than a day, but there are other opportunities to spend time with the team of O, The Oprah Magazine. The two remaining Adventure of Your Life Cruises will feature members of the magazine's editorial staff and other special guest speakers. There's a seven-day Alaska itinerary, which sets sail on August 11, 2018, and a seven-day Caribbean sailing trip, which departs on October 28, 2018.
