5 New Cruise Ships Coming to PortMiami Later This Year

PortMiami is the Cruise Capital of the World and three cruise lines are sending more five mega cruise ships to sail out of the port later this year. The cruise lines are Carnival Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean, and Norwegian Cruise Line.

Three of the five cruise ships are brand new, making their debut in 2018 including the largest cruise ship ever built, Symphony of the Seas. What new cruise ships will begin sailing out of PortMiami?  Here is a look at five new options you’ll have when choosing a cruise out of Miami.

Mariner of the Seas – Royal Caribbean’s Mariner of the Seas will begin sailing out of Miami on June 25. Before the ship arrives in Miami, the vessel is getting a radical $120 million makeover that will see a ton of new features added to the cruise ship.

The new features will include new waterslides, restaurants, and Royal Caribbean’s new Sky Pad. Mariner of the Seas will be the ultimate cruise ship for three and four night cruises to the Bahamas.  View Prices on Cruises on Mariner of the Seas

Carnival Horizon – Arriving in Miami on September 20, Carnival Cruise Line’s newest and largest cruise ship will begin sailing 6-8 night cruises to the Eastern and Western Caribbean.  This family cruise ship has the first ever Dr. Seuss themed waterpark that is fun for all ages.

The cruise ship has all of the signature features found on sister ship Carnival Vista that include the SkyRide, Havana staterooms, atrium with Dreamscape, and an IMAX Theater. Allure of the Seas – At one time, Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas was the largest cruise ship in the world.  The ship has sailed out of Port Everglades since debuting more than seven years ago but is moving to Miami on November 5.

Symphony of the Seas – The largest cruise ship ever built, the fourth Oasis class ship from Royal Caribbean will arrive in Miami on November 9.

The cruise ship carries nearly 9,000 passengers and crew members.  The ship is divided into seven neighborhoods: Boardwalk, Central Park, Royal Promenade, Entertainment Place, Pool and Sports Zone, Youth Zone, and Vitality at Sea Spa and Fitness Center.

Symphony of the Seas has everything from robot bartenders to a ten story slide.  The ship has Tony Award winning Broadway hits and the biggest casino at sea.

Norwegian Bliss – On November 17, Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest and largest cruise ship will begin sailing seven night cruises to the Eastern Caribbean out of Miami.

Norwegian Bliss is packed from bow to stern with incredible features including a go-kart track, huge water park with water slides, open air laser tag course, and more dining options than any other cruise ship.

After working up a sweat, guests aboard Norwegian Bliss can cool down at the ship’s expansive pool and sundeck featuring two spacious pools and six infinity hot tubs that scale the side of the ship.
