Royal Caribbean Launching New Stateroom Categories for Alaska Cruises

Royal Caribbean is launching new stateroom categories on one of their cruise ships for cruises to Alaska in 2019.

For cruises to Alaska on Radiance of the Seas, Royal Caribbean will be offering new stateroom categories for ocean view and balcony staterooms.  These new categories will be labeled Northbound Preferred and Southbound preferred so you can know which cabins will offer the best view of the Last Frontier.  The new codes will be as follows:

The new categories will open for bookings the week of December 11, 2017 and apply to the open-jaw (one way) Alaska sailings May 5, 2019 through August 30, 2019.

Why did Royal Caribbean make this change?  The cruise line said that they identified a unique opportunity to ensure that guests can book cabins that offer guaranteed premium views of the Alaskan coast.
