Cruise Lines Change Cruises Due to Tropical Storm Florence
While Tropical Storm Florence has been downgraded from a hurricane, several cruise lines have either made changes to cruises, or have released statements that they are monitoring the situation as the storm is expected to regain strength.
Tropical Storm Florence is currently out in the Atlantic Ocean and has maximum sustained winds of 65 mph, down from a high of 130 mph. The storm is forecast to regain strength as a major hurricane as it passes south of Bermuda.
Norwegian Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean have changes to cruise itineraries. Several cruise lines including Carnival Cruise Line have stated that they are monitoring the storm and will announce changes if needed. Here’s the latest information that has been released by cruise lines:
