Carnival Cruise Ship Completes Renovation, Begins Cruises to Alaska
A Carnival Cruise Line cruise ship has emerged from dry dock after receiving a multi-million dollar renovation and has officially kicked off the cruise line’s 2018 Alaska cruise season.
Carnival Legend will depart Seattle later today for Carnival Cruise Line’s first cruise to Alaska in 2018. The cruise ship will sail a seven night cruise with port stops in Juneau, Skagway, Glacier Bay, Ketchikan, and Victoria. Throughout the 2018 Alaska season, the ship will sail two different itineraries to the 49th State.
Carnival Legend received a $45 million makeover over the past few weeks. Carnival Cruise Line added a Carnival WaterWorks to the cruise ship that includes water slides and a PowerDrencher bucket. The pools were also renovated and the fitness center is received new equipment.
The ship also received routine hotel maintenance and cosmetic upgrades in public areas
